It's an awesome feeling isn't it?
As you know I’ve been doing Senior profiles for 3 months now. I’ve done about 11 different profiles now. I finally got a reference that has paid me for my work! This is an exciting moment for me because I’ve been studying how to become a professional writer for 3 years and getting somebody to pay you for your work is HARD. Especially since there is COMPETITION out here. So many people want to live that “Writer’s life!
Hopefully this will lead to another opportunity in the future because the woman I’ve done a profile for knows someone who might be interested.
But , I just wanted to share the Good News with you all!

That's SO lovely, Keanisha! You should indeed be celebrating. Writing on a pro level (meaning, you at least hope to get paid for it) is a very tough slog indeed — but when it does pay off, it's like champagne bubbles in your veins (in a good way, of course).
